Hey everybody!  Wow–it’s hard to believe Christmas is literally around the corner.  Hope you’ve gotten (most of) your shopping done.

Our church’s Christmas event was early in the month of December, so it does feel strange that Christmas is already here.

As it turned out, every one of us except Ashley were involved in the production this year.  Wow!  What a family.  (Thanks, God, for all the talents and abilities you’ve bestowed upon us!)

BTW, if you know of a good music minister who’s looking for a change of pace, please let our church know.

Alex, Cassie, and Carlie auditioned for district band recently.  Alex made it!  We didn’t know until afterwards that about 50 trumpet players auditioned.  We’re very proud of him, and I for one am extremely excited about his first-ever band clinic event.

C & C both made first chair in the middle school district band, on their respective instruments.

And Ashley has made it into the county honor chorus.  She’ll be involved in that after the first of the year.  But first, she has a couple of lines in the school chorus’s Christmas event.  That’s tomorrow night!
